With the increase in requests to reprogram the SP100 we decided to get in one ahead and publish a series of manuals on how to reprogram our products if you want to change it. Here is the instructions to reprogram the ESP007, the modernised version of the SP100.

A view of the board inside the ESP007 with the bank of switches marked.

A close up view of the labelled switch bank, when the switchs are down they are off.

-In Tote mode with switch 8 on, the box will send a pulse to the machine start circuit once the correct amount has been added.

The switches 1-6 need to be to be set so there total value (out lined below) is equal to the price you want to charge for one use. For most prices this involves multiple switches being on.

Switch 1 = 10p

Switch 2 = 20p

Switch 3 =40p

Switch 4 = 80p

Switch 5 = 160p

Switch 6 = 320p

For £1.70 (170p) switches 5 and 1 (160+10=170) must be on with 2,3,4 and 6 set to off.

Switch 7 controls how long the pulse is, having it on means a long pulse of 5 minutes and having switch 7 set to off means a short pulse which last only 2 seconds.

-When switch 8 is off then the board is in timer mode and the time per 10p can be set.

To select the right time turn the switches on, so that their total combined time value are the time you want the appliance to run.

 Switch 1 = 10seconds

Switch 2 = 20 seconds

Switch 3 =40 seconds

Switch 4 = 80p seconds

Switch 5 = 160 seconds

Switch 6 = 320 seconds

Switch 7 = 640 seconds

For 730 seconds per 10p or just over 2 hours per £1, switches 1,4 and 7 are on, switches 2,3,5 and 6 are off.

These instructions and others are avaible in .pdf and paper form please contact us if you would like a copy.
